The Archbishop is supported in carrying out his office by the following:
The Auxiliary Bishop and Moderator of the Curia assists the Archbishop and is responsible for overseeing the work of the Pastoral and Administration Offices.
The Vicar General assists in the governance of the Archdiocese and acts for the Archbishop and Auxiliary Bishop in their absence.
The Judicial Vicar acts in the name of the Archbishop and directs the Alberta Regional Tribunal which assists those requesting a study of a marriage for a possible declaration of nullity. The Tribunal serves the dioceses of Edmonton, St. Paul, Grouard-McLennan and Mackenzie-Fort Smith.
The Chancellor assists the Moderator of the Curia in the work of the Pastoral and Administration Offices and processes requests for marriage dispensations from parishes in the Archdiocese of Edmonton.
The Vice-Chancellor assists both the Chancellor and the Auxiliary Bishop in their work.
The Director of Liturgy encourages full and fruitful participation in liturgy by providing education, support, direction, leadership and resources to all parishes.
The Director of Vocations assists the faithful in discerning their vocations and has a particular mandate to promote vocations to the priesthood.
The Director of Evangelization and Catechesis has overall responsibility for Catechesis, Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations, Missions, Pastoral Care, Social Justice, Youth Evangelization, and New Evangelization initiatives including Stewardship, Nothing More Beautiful and the Together in Ministery training and formation program for parish pastoral councils.
The Director of Development provides leadership, co-ordination and strategic initiatives for a variety of projects that help the Archdiocese achieve its financial goals, including parish and capital campaigns, planned giving, endowments, and special fundraising events and campaigns
The Financial Administrator directs the Office of Finance and Accounting, which cares for the financial affairs of the people of the Archdiocese. The office is also responsible for development foundations, information technology and property management. The Assistant Financial Administrator has specific responsibility for the finances of Edmonton Catholic Cemeteries, St. Joseph Seminary, Newman Theological College, and Villa Vianney.
The Records Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and retention of the records created by the Pastoral and Administrative Offices of the Archdiocese. The Archivist is in turn responsible for ensuring the acquisition, appraisal, arrangement, description, and preservation of records which have long-term administrative, business, legal and/or historic value for future use and reference.
The Human Resources Coordinator deals with issues related to employment.
The Director of Communications and Public Relations is responsible for sharing the Archbishop's pastoral letters and other news with the faithful of the Archdiocese as well as with the larger community and the news media.
