Nothing More Beautiful
2009-10: Encountering Anew
the Beauty of Christ
Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world!”
(John 1:29)
In our second year of Nothing More Beautiful, we ponder the beauty and mystery of the person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God made flesh, who gave His life for the salvation of the world. The foundation and lifeblood of Christians is their encounter and living union with Jesus. Our mission is to make Him known as the world’s only hope.
The five sessions of Year 2 will unfold His mystery for us, so that we might be renewed in our knowledge of and love for our Lord. I am pleased to announce the presenters and schedule for these sessions, all of which will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday evenings at St. Joseph’s Basilica.
My prayer is that all who participate will encounter the Lord anew, grow in their acceptance of His love and call, and experience the peace and joy that He wills for each of us.
Most Reverend Richard Smith
Archbishop of Edmonton
