Called to Spread the Good News: a Vision of Catechesis for Those Working with Children and Youth.

Are you involved in sharing the faith with children and youth? Are you a parent who is trying to teach your child or teen about the faith? Are you responsible for sacremental preparation in your parish? Are you involved with Children's Liturgy of the Word? Are you a catechist, in a rural or urban parish, working with children who are not in our Catholic school system? Are you a Catholic school teacher? If so, you will want to save this date.
A formation workshop is available for all those involved in the catechesis of children and youth. Learn more about what the term catechesis means, who a catechist is, general principles of catechesis, and some practical guidelines for working with children and youth. You will take home practical tips on setting up the environment, suggestions for activities, and understanding how age differences affect catechesis.
