Pilgrimage Highlights

Our tour co-ordinator is Christine Foisy-Erickson, who has led 15 pilgrimages to various spiritual sites. She is looking forward to returning to the Holy Land, which she first visited in 2000. "That pilgrimage marked me profoundly," says Christine. "It really made the gospel come alive for me, and Sunday Mass has never been the same." A pilgrimage is much more than a vacation in a foreign country, she says. "Apart from seeing the sites we hear about in the Gospel, there are some really deep spiritual moments, and lots of graces bestowed upon us. I am excited to be going back, and I anticipate many more such moments."

Come, follow in the footsteps of Jesus on this unforgettable journey. Our pilgrimage includes:

  • Nazareth / Cana / Sea of Galilee / Mount of Beatitudes
  • Tabgha / Capernaum / Banias /
  • Mount Tabor / Caesarea / Jezreel Valley / Jerusalem
  • Ein Karem / Bethlehem / Temple Mount
  • Mount of Olives / Mount Zion / Via Dolorosa
  • Bethany / Jericho / Qumran / the Dead Sea / Jordan River
  • Masses at pilgrimage sites

The first 50 seats on the pilgrimage have been sold out. To give more people an opportunity to come on this 11-day journey of a lifetime, we have secured seats for another 30 pilgrims. However, the airline was only able to provide these seats at a somewhat higher cost, bringing the total price to $4,201.69, based on double occupancy. This price includes return airfare from Edmonton, most meals,
hotel, all local transportation, all entrance fees, tips, gratuities and all taxes.
