Rev. Marc Cramer has been named the new Director of Vocations for the Archdiocese of Edmonton.

Father Marc, ordained in 2006, currently serves as pastor at Sacred Heart Parish in Wetaskiwin, Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Parish in Hobbema, and St. Theresa Parish in Ma-Me-O Beach. He also serves as chaplain to the Red Deer Remand Centre. As Director of Vocations, he will also assist pastors and parish teams in promoting a culture of vocations within their faith communities.  He will help the faithful in discerning their vocations, especially those who may be called to the priesthood.

In announcing the appointment, effective January 31, Archbishop Richard Smith asked that we "keep Father Marc in our prayers as he undertakes this additional responsibility to his pastoral ministry."
