Newman Theological College is now accepting nominations for the 2015 Kevin Carr Christian Leadership Award. 

Kevin Carr served as President of Newman Theological College from 1993 to 2001. The award that carries his name aims to recognize and honour an individual whose outstanding Christian leadership reflects the values of the College and the qualities that Kevin Carr cherished and exhibited in his work as President.

We invite you to nominate a candidate with the following qualities in mind:

Leadership 

  • Modelling Christ, the nominee has shared his or her gifts for leadership in guiding and inspiring positive community development. 

Christian Witness 

  • The achievements of the nominee shall witness a response to the call of Jesus Christ to be a leaven in the work of transforming society and fostering a true Christian Culture. 

Community Engagement 

  • Christian Leadership is at the humble and faithful service of the community. The nominee will have manifested generous, collaborative, and long-term commitment to the growth of a just and loving community.

Nominations must be submitted by Sunday, May 31.
