We know assisted suicide and euthanasia are morally wrong, but how can we help others understand why? How can we articulate the truth of Catholic teaching on these issues? How can we ensure our voices are heard when the federal government considers new legislation on assisted suicide?  Or when we meet the candidates who seek our votes in the upcoming election? Find some answers at St. Thomas More Parish on Friday, July 17, at 5:30 p.m. in the parish hall.

This information session will be led by Peter Nation of Catholic Voices, a non-profit educational organization that helps prepare ordinary Catholic lay people to present the Church’s position on topics of contemporary relevance. Peter has degrees in Philosophy and Religious Education and recently retired after 28 years as a high school teacher.

All are welcome. St. Thomas More is located at 210 Haddow Close NW, Edmonton (corner of 23rd Avenue & Terwillegar Drive).
